RENTAL PROPERTIES
Vacationland Rental Services has an inventory of 15 to 20 privately owned lake homes and cottages.  Most are located within 20 miles of Minocqua and are available for weekly or longer term rental from May through September.  A limited number are available through the winter months for your skiing and snowmobiling vacation.  They range in size from 2 to 5 bedrooms with rental costs determined by size, lake, and amenities ($500 to $2000 per week).

Each unit provides a complete range of housekeeping equipment, dishes, table wear, glasses, cooking utensils, pots and pans, clean equipment and supplies, pillows and blankets, and TVs.  Many units also provide an outdoor grill, microwave, and a 12 to 14 foot row boat.  Motors, ski boats, and waverunners can be rented at various places in the area.

All units can accommodate two person per bedroom.  Additional occupancy requires permission and an additional charge.  Many owners offer a 10 to 20% discount for rentals prior to mid-June and after Labor Day.  Prime months are July and August, and early reservations are advised as these times fill rapidly.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Properties are rented on a weekly basis from Sunday to Saturday in most cases.  Check-in time is between 3pm and 6pm on Saturday and check-out is no later than 10am the following Sunday.

PHONE
Some owners maintain a telephone in active service on the premises.  In such cases tenants are informed that all long distance calls are to be collect, charged to a third party or credit card number.  $50 of the security deposit will be held for a maximum of six weeks or until the bill for their tenancy arrives.

TERMS
- 50% down payment of the total rent is needed to reserve the unit
- Balance plus security deposit is due prior to occupancy
- In the even of cancellation, monies paid are non-refundable unless the property is re-rented for the specified period.  If the property is re-rented, half of the deposit will be refunded.
- Tenants are required to bring their own linens, towels, and dish towels.
- Tenants are required to keep the premises clean during occupancy
- Tenants are required to leave the premises in the same condition in which they found it.  Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of all or part of the security deposit necessary to pay for the cleaning or repair of the premises.
